Hi, I'm Dhruv, a philomath and forward thinker. I'm always on the look out for the latest innovations and opportunities. I'm an engineer by trade, an amateur coder by night. I love to build things. I focus on ventures which provide real world value and are not the latest consumer fads. I am a risk taker and does what is necessary to get the job done.
Previously, I co-founded EatAds (Lokatix), an online platform to bring software into the unorganized, backward world of Outdoor Advertising. Our focus market was India which we saw the large problem of opacity and slow, inefficient processes. Our first Web App, Monitorly, was an enterprise mobility product which allowed Media Owners and Agencies to easily monitor Billboards, Bus Shelters, etc... using a simple Android phone and a web dashboard. We secured the largest media owner in the world (JCDecaux) in India as our anchor client. Our strategy was to use this product as our "thin-wedge" into the organization and then cross sell other software like ERP/CRM solutions and eventually create a full blown marketplace/exchange.
At EatAds, I moved to Delhi to set up from scratch which included hiring the entire team, and setting up an office. My role lead me to be head of operations for the company, the product manager for our Monitorly and CRM products, and the primary sales for Delhi, where I secured our first clients.
Over 3 years of Biz Dev experience in numerous countries. I specialize in opening up Indian and SEA markets.
I have 1.5 years of Product Management experience leading two products, one of which was from writing the specs all the way to first sale (with many iterations along the way!).
I'm not a hardcore sales guy, but I do enjoy early-stage sales and have experience setting up sales pipelines and sales stragies for teams.
At EatAds (Lokatix) we build easy-to-use cloud solutions for the global OOH media industry. The team has over 30 years of OOH media industry experience. Our mission is to be the OOH industry’s technology partner through this exciting transition to geo-profiling, audience data, digitisation & convergence with mobile.
My role as a Co-Founder was diverse and I wore many hats. Some of the roles I assumed were, product manager for our flagship product Monitorly, early-stage sales securing our first clients including world's largest outdoor media vendor, JCDecaux as well as overall business development and strategy for the company.
